These deep tissue techniques go beyond surface-level massage, targeting the deep layers of muscle and fascia where tension, pain, and stubborn 'knots' originate.
Combining evidence-based movement techniques and suction with cups, this method promotes better tissue mobility and blood flow in troubled areas. Traditional cupping does not include active movement.
Leveraging 7+ years of experience and continuous learning in the personal training and massage therapy field, I utilize a unique blend of techniques to ensure you receive personalized care that actually targets your specific concerns.
These methods go beyond traditional stretching, focusing on improving joint mobility, strength, and body control through precise exercises and protocols from the Functional Range Conditioning® (FRC) and Kinstretch® advanced training systems.
Developed by world-renowned musculoskeletal expert Dr. Andreo Spina, Functional Range Conditioning® is a comprehensive movement training system based on scientific principles and research.
There are 3 main goals when utilizing the FRC® training system which are all closely interrelated, and acquired simultaneously:
mobility development
Mobility refers to the amount of active, usable motion that one possesses. The more mobile a person is, the more they are able to maximize their movement potential safely, efficiently, and effectively.
JOINT STRENGTH
While improving mobility and movement potential, the FRC® system also acts to ‘bullet proof’ (or safe-guard) your joints so that movement can be executed safely.
BODY CONTROL
Training with FRC® improves the function of your nervous system. This leads to a reduction of pain and injury, joint health and longevity, as well as an increased ability to move freely and easily.

"My life's work is all about unlocking the full potential of being a resilient human being."
Passionate about sports, fitness, and driven to push limits, I've faced my share of setbacks, from 8+ broken bones (I've lost count) to disabling lower back pain and a separated shoulder. This journey led me to dive into strength & mobility training and health, not just for self-recovery but to guide others toward a balanced, fulfilling life.
After working with thousands of people, including professional athletes, I learned It's not about endless hours at the gym or counting every calorie. I believe in an evidence-based, functional approach over conventional methods.

"Functional Mobility" means you can move your body freely and with control. It involves three components: flexibility, strength, and body control.
Flexibility allows your body to achieve and maintain necessary positions, like raising your arm overhead, which is vital for executing various movements safely, such as pressing weight above your head.
Strength is also important. It ensures that once your body reaches these positions, it can perform tasks effectively and without strain. For example, having the strength to push weight overhead after reaching it reduces the risk of injury.
Body control is the third component, which is the ability to coordinate and control movements precisely. It involves managing your body's positioning and motion throughout your range of motion for optimal performance and safety.
Flexibility + Strength + Body Control = Functional Mobility
Unlike a typical massage where you’re under a sheet, in this session you’ll be fully clothed because we may do some stretching and active movements.
Women: A tank top over a sports bra, paired with shorts that allow for easy movement is ideal.
Men: Shorts and a tank top work well.
Each session begins with a movement and mobility assessment to identify your body’s unique needs. I'll then tailor the massage therapy to address specific areas of tension, discomfort, or limited mobility.
You may experience a combination of deep tissue massage, cupping therapy, extensive stretching, and personalized therapy techniques, depending on what your body needs.
If you don't want something like cupping, I'm not going to force you to do anything you're not comfortable with.
Each premium in-home massage therapy session is 90-minutes long, providing enough time for a thorough assessment, treatment, and post-session consultation on stretching and mobility habits.
Just provide enough space for a massage table and ensure a comfortable environment. I’ll bring the rest, including the massage table and any necessary equipment. Extra space for stretching comfortably is also ideal.
I serve clients throughout the Bakersfield area. Please provide your address when booking to confirm service availability in your location.
